Enforceable Speed Signs

Bartco is pleased to announce that it has been given the green light by VicRoads (Victoria's Roading Authority) and the RTA (NSW Roads Authority) that our new colour vms can be Enforceable by law when displaying speed signs like the one pictured left.

Previously motorist's could not be held legally accountable for exceeding the speed posted on an amber only VMS, as this is only an advisory colour. Colour video displays are not suitable for this purpose due to flicker and luminosity issues. Bartco's unique colour LED panel design satisfies the law in this respect.

We have all worked really hard to meet the terms outlined in the required state roads regulations with respect to what is an Enforceable road sign - making Bartco VMS the only portable enforceable in the world, making safer roadwork sites!
