Controller Firmware

If your sign has been in the field for a long time then it is likely using old firmware. Firmware is the software that runs the sign and makes Bartco VMS do all the amazing they do.

We are constantly working to improve, and add new features to the firmware.

If your an existing customer you may have noticed that VMS Studio has been changing to support these new features. If your sign runs the older firmware you will still be able to communicate and programme your sign as normal, but you cannot take advantage of the new features, they will be disabled in VMS Studio when you connect to a sign.

Contact us today if you are interested in having your Firmware updated to the latest version. Please determine the version of Firmware you have currently by resetting your sign and observing the messages as the sign powers on, the latest version of VMS Studio will also now report firmware version when you are connected.
